Is it a crime to buy something made from a timber that shouldn't have been cut down?
I bought some Huon pine from a bloke who was selling it on the side of the road. I know this type of timber isn't allowed to be cut down anymore. Would this be a crime for me to buy it if he had cut it down recently? Is it still a crime if I wasn't aware it was illegal?
