Sophie Marino

Sophie is a lawyer in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team.

Sophie has experience across a range of commercial matters such as contract disputes, building and construction disputes, retail leasing disputes, matters involving the Australian Consumer Law and debt recovery.

She has represented clients in the Victorian Magistrates’, County and Supreme Courts, the New South Wales District Court and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT).

Prior to specialising in commercial litigation, Sophie practiced in insurance litigation and has experience advising and acting for general insurers on matters relating to public and product liability, property damage, indemnity disputes and class actions.

Sophie provides concise and prompt advice, and maintains regular contact with her clients to ensure delivery of the best outcome. She strives to resolve disputes at an early stage and forms a position of strength through her thorough approach to evidence gathering and case preparation.
