  I work both as a tech commercialisation lawyer and startup lawyer and adviser practising in the areas of innovation and commercialisation working with start-up and early stage companies to grow (elevate and accelerate) their business and protect their intellectual property assets.

  My experience has included working with start-ups through to established companies and government agencies to in the areas of intellectual property and other technology-driven transactions generally.

  I have extensive experience in the areas of IP, commercialisation and technology both as a lawyer and commercialisation specialist having worked with a number of well-known local and interstate law and patent firms and internationally with a specialist law firm as well as in-house with both a globally recognised resources company and a multinational IT services provider.

  I have worked as a commercialisation adviser with Acceleration Venture Catalysts and The Advisory Panel and for the State Government of Western Australia as a commercialisation adviser with the Innovation Centre of Western Australia.

  I have also had the opportunity to have worked with a wide range of clients ranging from well-known companies, universities and governmental agencies through to a large number of smaller companies and start-ups within Australia, the US and Europe.

  I have also have extensive experience with information technology and communications law with an emphasis on system and software acquisitions, integrations and outsourcings as well as associated intellectual property issues.
