Gadens gains Environment and Planning specialist

National firm Gadens has appointed Meg Lee as a Planning and Environment Partner in their Melbourne-based Property, Construction and Planning Team. Joining the firm from Allens, Meg contributes a wealth of planning and environment expertise to one of the largest, most recognised property and construction law team's in the market.

Meg's appointment follows the recent announcement that Sabine Phillips has joined Gadens as the new head of their Health and Aged Care Team in Melbourne.

Meg is a specialist in planning and environment law with extensive experience advising clients in the industrial, retail, manufacturing, renewable energy and development sectors. Her expertise encompasses environmental and planning advice in relation to risks, liabilities and statutory regulation for major infrastructure and property developments and redevelopments, commercial transactions, land use, environmental risk, the management of contaminated land and environmental prosecutions. A large part of Meg's practice includes assisting clients to obtain state and federal project approvals, representing clients at VCAT, Planning Panels Victoria and Advisory Committees appointed by the Planning Minister.
